“One of the Gems of Rarotonga”

My little family of four stayed at Lagoon Breeze Villas for a week and I have to tell you, the positive reviews are absolutely spot on about the place. The owners are wonderful and friendly and their staff are just awesome... I cannot express my gratitude to Vikki whom is a book of knowledge when it comes to everything and anything on the Island. My family loved this place. It was peaceful, beautiful and quiet. Everything you could ask for in a holiday. Read more

Island Activities

Our team has selected a few of the best activities that we have here on the island. All tours can be booked through our reception during your stay.

Aitutaki Day Trip

This trip to ‘heaven on earth’ will take a whole day and includes airfares, lunch, a lagoon cruise and an island tour.

Church Services

We thoroughly recommend you try and experience a Cook Islands church service if you have time. Many of the churches are historical works of art and the joyous singing of the local villagers resembles that of the American Gospel choirs. Visitors are welcome to attend but are requested to please dress in modest attire. Church runs on Sunday mornings from 10am - 11.30am.

Island Night

Held at several venues around the island, this is a must see. The cost of an island night covers your meal and a show with traditional island food and dancing.

Raro Safari Tours (4x4)

If you are in to a spot of history and you would like to see the island from a totally different perspective then this is the tour for you. Through the mountainous back roads of the island you will experience how the locals live.  Heaps of fun to be had here.

Koka Lagoon Cruises

A 3.5 hour tour snorkelling amongst lagoon life and enjoying the sealife through a glass bottom boat. There is non-stop entertainment with ukulele playing, pareu tying and weaving as well as a delicious fish bbq feast, amazing coconut tree climbing show, coconut husking and more. Includes transfers and snorkeling equipment. Cruises run Sunday - Friday from 10am.

Highland Paradise

Sometimes known as “the lost village” Highland Paradise is a cultural feast of Cook Islands entertainment and spiritual experiences. Daily guided tours and Wednesday and Friday evenings host a sunset cultural show and feast. Authentic and award winning.

With a myriad of tropical fish in the lagoon this is one activity that you must do in Rarotonga. It is safe and amazing. Snorkeling gear and reef shoes are available for complimentary guest use.

Perfumes of Rarotonga

With so many beautiful flowers growing wild it is no wonder that some beautiful perfumes are made here along with loads of other skin and beauty products.

Storytellers Eco (cycle) Tours

Storytellers Eco (cycle) Tours delivers a compelling and genuine trip that takes guests on a route through lanes and tracks of Rarotonga highlighting its rich history and heritage. Tours are designed to cover most riding abilities and fitness levels. 10% of tour profits go back to the community for development projects.

Learn to dive the beautiful clear Cook Islands water. Whether you are already qualified and you are diving for fun, or you want to progress your professional diving career, there are dives to suit everyone. Lagoon Breeze Villas offers complimentary introductory scuba lessons twice weekly in our swimming pool, provided by qualified instructors from Cook Island Divers. We are also conveniently located between two dive centres, The Dive Centre and Reef to See.

Coco Putt

Challenge yourself to a hole-in-one in Rarotonga. Located only 2 minutes walk from Lagoon Breeze Villas, Coco Putt is an 18 hole mini golf and cafe. Coco Putt is open daily from 10am for lunch and dinner. A Sunday evening BBQ is also available.

The Punanga Nui Market operates Monday to Friday from 8.00am to 2.00pm and Saturday from 8.00am to 12.00pm (noon).  Saturday is the best and busiest day at the market and you will find more produce and craft stores available. We suggest you time your visit between 8.00am and 11.00am to get the best of the produce available.

Avarua is the main shopping area on the island. Here you will find everything from cafes, banks and supermarkets to pharmacies, department stores and souvenir shops. Avarua township shops are open between 8am and 4pm Monday to Friday, 8am - 1pm Saturday and are closed on Sundays.
